Terms
Terms of use
These terms explain how you may use RepoLumen, what paid plans include, and what to expect from AI-assisted code walkthroughs.
Allowed use
You may upload or connect repositories that you own, are allowed to inspect, or are publicly available. You are responsible for the code and data you submit.
No malicious uploads
Do not upload malware, credential dumps, harmful payloads, or content intended to attack RepoLumen, its infrastructure providers, or other users.
Service limits
Plans include project, AI credit, voice, upload, repository-size, and feature-access limits. RepoLumen may queue, reject, throttle, or remove work that exceeds operational limits or creates risk.
Paid plans and billing
Paid plans renew monthly unless canceled before the next billing date. Usage allowances are tied to the current billing period and do not roll over. A canceled plan remains available until the end of the paid period, then the workspace returns to the available free-plan access.
Refunds and cancellations
You can cancel future renewals from the billing portal in Settings or by contacting support. Refunds are handled case by case for duplicate charges, accidental purchases, or service failures that prevent meaningful use. Usage-based overages, completed billing periods, and accounts suspended for abuse are generally not refundable.
Account and data deletion
Settings provides self-serve deletion for RepoLumen account data such as projects, uploads, generated guides, audio, usage records, audit events, and Team workspace seats. Account data deletion does not automatically remove payment processor records or cancel an active paid subscription; cancel billing separately or contact support first.
AI output
RepoLumen is an AI-assisted code understanding tool. Explanations should be reviewed against the source code before you rely on them for production decisions.
Availability and support expectations
RepoLumen is provided as a hosted software service. We aim to keep the service available and responsive, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Support is best-effort unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Account suspension
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for abuse, payment failure, attempts to bypass plan limits, harmful uploads, or activity that risks the service, infrastructure, processors, or other users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product, pricing, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of RepoLumen means you accept the current terms.
